New Pilates program for moms
New mothers want to get in shape quickly and safely, leaving their "baby weight" behind without leaving their baby behind. That's the idea behind a new exercise program created by a mom for a mom. It's called "mamalates." It's a Pilates-based class for mothers, designed to restore core strength. Wendy Foster created it. She's an internationally certified Pilates instructor and a mom. She couldn't find a safe postpartum exercise class after the birth of her first child. So, with the help of a doctor, she created the program and a DVD version for moms to work out at home.

'Slow Burn' Pilates can yield quicker fitness results
